  • I wasn’t sure at first if I would like the whole Bones meets Booth for the first time thing, but it ended up being a good story
  • Bones’s reasoning didn’t make sense, “I’m a scientist”.  NO.  That doesn’t work.  B.S..  I think that a Bones-Booth relationship would work, and I think it’s silly that she wouldn’t even consider it.
  • By the relationship not working it would make me assume that the writers are wanting fans to move away from the Brennan/Booth idea.  That’s alright, but I hope that they stay away from a relationship until at least the final season of the show.  I don’t think it would make sense to come back to it too quickly.
  • Even though her reasoning didn’t make sense, that scene was very moving, and I though that both David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel did a great job.  Those who criticize Deschanel’s acting should watch that scene, and I think they’ll change their opinion.
  • It was pretty cool to see how Bones and Angela became friends.
  • I wasn’t a huge Zach(or is it Zack?) fan, but I don’t mind seeing him once in a while, so it was cool seeing him again.  It was also cool seeing him and Hodgins do an experiment for the first time.
  • Sweets is a funny guy.
  • Best episode of the season so far.

Since no one actually reads this blog, I thought that if any random people visited, they could at least see what shows I watch as of now.  That way anybody that finds their way on to this blog will know if they want to stay and read!
On Fox:

24

American Idol (I don’t watch past the auditions)

Bones

Fringe

Hell’s Kitchen (Don’t watch it religiously, but I tend to tune in)

House

Kitchen Nightmares (Again, like Hell’s Kitchen, I don’t watch it all the time, but I do watch in occasionally)

Lie to Me

The Simpsons

Human Target looks ok, I might watch it when it premieres.

I sometimes watch Family Guy, although in the recent seasons I’ve been unimpressed.

——————————————————————-

NBC:

The Apprentice/The Celebrity Apprentice

The Office

Parks and Recreation

I’d like to check out 30 Rock, but I’ve never seen an episode.

I’d also be interested in Chuck, as I’ve heard that it’s a good show.

———————

ABC:

Lost

Modern Family

Shark Tank

I’ve seen the first episode of Better Off Ted, I thought it was pretty good, but I haven’t seen an episode since then.

FlashForward looks interesting too.  I’d like to see some of it.

I saw one episode of Shaq vs.  Might watch it again.  You can never really get enough Shaq can you?

Wife Swap was cancelled, even if it hadn’t been, I only watch reruns of it.

Wipeout (I see it rarely)

———————-

CBS:

Survivor

That’s it.  All I watch on CBS is Survivor.

So if anyone does read this, do you have any suggestions?

Heroes:

Rupert Boneham (”Pearl Islands” and “All-Stars”)

James “JT” Thomas Jr. (”Tocantins”)

James Clement (”China” and “Fans vs. Favorites”)

Candice Woodcock (”Cook Islands”)

Colby Donaldson (”Australia” and “All-Stars”)

Amanda Kimmel (”China” and “Fans vs. Favorites”)

Jessica “Sugar” Kiper (”Gabon”)

Cirie Fields (”Panama” and “Fans vs. Favorites”)

Stephenie LaGrossa (”Palau” and “Guatemala”)

Tom Westman (”Palau”)

Villains:

Russell Hantz (”Samoa”)

Sandra Diaz-Twine (”Pearl Islands”)

Randy Bailey (”Gabon”)

Danielle DiLorenzo (”Panama”)

Jerri Manthey (”Australia” and “All-Stars”)

Tyson Apostol (”Tocantins”)

Rob Mariano (”Marquesas” and “All-Stars”)

Parvati Shallow (”Cook Islands” and “Fans vs. Favorites”)

Courtney Yates (”China”)

and last, but certainly not least, Benjamin “Coach” Wade (”Tocantins”).

The ones in bold are the ones I really care about.  Honestly it’ll be great to see Coach, watching the video where you “meet Coach”, it appeared to me that he was going to change his attitude a little this time, but hopefully not too much.  As far as I know, the cast won’t be familiar with Russell because this season was filmed before season nineteen was shown.  I wonder what they think of Russell since they know nothing about him.  A little surprised to see Tyson here.  Also, I notice no Richard Hatch or Johnny Fairplay.  I thought I had read that Hatch wasn’t granted out of the country, so that’s no real surprise.  I also guess that after the last incident (asking to be voted home), Johnny Fairplay sailed away from a chance to win.  I like Rupert and J.T..  I could see some form of alliance coming out of them, as they seem like they would match up as hard workers.  Anyway, I’m looking forward to this season, and I can’t wait for it to start in February.

I had heard rumors that Simon Cowell would possibly leave American Idol after the current season.  Apparently from a New York Post article I just read, Simon is confirmed to have decided to leave the show.  Also according to the article, Piers Morgan is the favorite to replace Simon on the show.  Piers Morgan would likely be the best choice for the show if you want someone similar to Simon.  Now I don’t watch American Idol past the first audition stage, and Simon is one of the main reasons why.  If it true that Simon is done, I doubt that I would still watch Idol at all.  I like Piers Morgan.  I liked him when I watched America’s Got Talent, and on the Apprentice.    I think though that if Piers was selected, he would just appear as a Simon rip-off, which isn’t completely true.  Piers is his own person, but he will come off as if he is just like Simon, since they have similar attributes.  I’ve thought for a while now that Idol has run it’s course, this only confirms my suspicion.  With both Paula and Simon gone, even if it brings in huge ratings, I think that American Idol needs to end.

  • Russell deserved to win
  • Natalie won, really??
  • The point of the game is to Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast, and Russell did all those things.
  • Outwit – There isn’t a way that Russell didn’t outwit every other player in the game, from his dumb ass girl alliance, to aligning early on with Shambo, to burning Jaison’s sock and emptying the canteen, it’s clear that Russell knew what to do, and played the game well.
  • Outplay – 3 hidden immunity idols, playing well in every challenge, consistently picking the right person to eliminate in tribal council, and beating Brett in that final epic challenge, Russell was clearly a dominant force.
  • Really, Natalie?!?!?
  • Outlast – The Foa-Foa foursome, led by Russell (although Mick was technically the elected leader, Russell was proved he was the man) survived until the finale because Brett won immunity.  Russell outlasted everyone until the final vote.
  • Natalie, really?!?
  • I honestly don’t understand awarding a million dollars to someone that just rides the coattails of one of the best players in Survivor history, and does basically nothing.
  • The game is Outwit, Outplay, Outlast.  Not, Be Nice, Play Fair, and Don’t Lie.  People need to get over losing.  Quite honestly, Natalie followed everything Russell did, so she was just as much a lying cheat as Russell was, and if you remember, it was Natalie who started the push to get Erik eliminated (really the only important move she made besides following Russell)]
  • Natalie?!?!
  • I have no feelings on Mick, probably would have been angrier if he won.
  • Really!??!

Interpreting the votes (according to Wikipedia):

Natalie, 7 (Brett, Jaison, Monica, Dave, Laura, Kelly, Erik)

  • Brett- I see how he could be angry that Russell said he would vote for Mick, and I think that may be justification for voting for Nat. Plus, he had started to become friends with Nat, so it makes some sense he would vote for her. Retains same vote.
  • Jaison- Jaison was a crybaby.  It was either Jaison or Mick.  In the end Russ picked Mick because Mick was more likely to help in the challenge.  Overall, it didn’t matter, because Russell won.  Jaison should have voted for the person that kept him there as long as he did. New vote – Russell
  • Monica- Voting for Nat because she was a nicer person? That’s ridiculous. Russell outplayed you.  New Vote- Russell.
  • Dave- Russell kept you there an extra week by voting out John, you should be thankful. New Vote- Russell
  • Laura- Russell outwitted you well.  He played his heart out finding that idol to eliminate Kelly, then was able to convince John to switch is vote, you should thank him by voting for him. New vote- Russell.
  • Kelly- Same as Laura (minus the bit about John since she wasn’t there).  New vote- Russell
  • Erik- Don’t understand his vote at all.  If Natalie did anything to help the tribe, it was getting Erik eliminated.  Unless he thinks he play was worthy of a vote, I think he should vote for Russell.  No need to be bitter about Russell eliminating all your friends.

Russell, 2 (Shambo, John)

  • Shambo- She loved Russell, he kept her there long, she helped him.  Good vote choice. Retains vote.
  • John- He did what Kelly and Laura should have done, applauded Russell’s playing ability.  He realizes Russell saved him, and that Russell played the best.  Retains vote.

Mick, 0

  • As Jeff Probst would say, “Got nothing for you.”

New vote totals:

Russell, 8 (Jaison, Monica, Dave, Laura, Kelly, Erik, John, Shambo)

Natalie, 1 (Brett)

Mick, 0

Your new sole survivor, Russell!
